Visited Sunshine Sammies while on a getaway to Biltmore. Fresh ice cream and cookies. We got four ice cream cookies. Ice cream itself was good. The thing I didn’t like was that the chocolate chip cookies were hard, and the double chocolate was soft.

It just made it difficult to eat without making a mess. Water pitcher inside was also empty. Super delicious!!!!! Ice cream is flavor-FULL. You don’t want to miss it. New American restaurant. The menu had wide range of options. Small plates were fantastic. You could tell every single item on the plate was well thought out and purposeful.

The entrees were generous in portion and given the quality, very reasonably priced. The prime rib was better than any I’ve had at high end restaurants and far less expensive than at those high dollar restaurants.

The wine selection was also quite nice and the staff are knowledgeable about the wine list and made solid recommendations. The atmosphere is nice, a little eccentric and definitely on the smaller side so make sure you have a reservation to get a table for this fantastic restaurant. Finominal from start to finish. The Cream of Collard was the best soup we have had. I know it is a seasonal menu item but it was amazing. I enjoyed the Blackened Duck Heart and the bok choy that was incorporated.

While I did not get it the Ricotta Gnocchi looked delicious and was very popular as we got the privilege of sitting at the chefs window and watched the cooks work their magic. I got the Braised Short Rib and was not disappointed, it was so tender and full of taste. Finished with the Cranberry Poundcake which was a great combination.

On the drink front I had multiple Ice Breakers. Bourbon smoked and broken open table side was a treat and very good. Service was attentive, music playing was very fitting. The mood of the place just really helped make it a memorable night. Sitting and watching the chefs in action was a real treat. If you are in Asheville for a weekend, make Jargon a stop for a meal. Nice atmosphere but our food was so so.

I got the fingerling potatoes, which were good, but nothing extraordinary. My husband got the duck confit croquettes which were better.

The harissa sauce was delicious. The trout had large and somewhat flavorless chunks of potatoes and squash. His flounder was a smaller plate, but tastier. We also got the golden milk brulee not pictured which had good flavor, but the texture was off, slightly curdled.

They mentioned both and were very accommodating. The waitress and her assistant were very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. There are a few vegetarian items on the menu, which can be made into vegan with minimal changes. We loved every dish and enjoyed every bite. There were some items that were foraged, like the Beech Mushrooms in my dish that were delightful and so flavorful. There was even a little bit of dirt in one of my bites, which showed that it was wild picked mushrooms.

Love this place! I’ve been to many upscale restaurants and this is the best one so far. The server was very kind and friendly foods were great. I love the atmosphere and the view of the blue ridge mountain.

I’m a very tough critic of service and good. I don’t have any negative to say about this place. It deserves a five stars. The Sous Chef Peter was on the grill the night we dined and we had a mouth watering filet.

Been hearing about this place for a while and finally went yesterday. The food was excellent- it was flavorful, prepared properly, hot and plated well. I had the soul rebel and my friend had the Marley’s magic. Curries were both packed with flavor and rich, the banana mango chutney was perfectly sweet to cut through and the salmon was cooked a perfect medium-rare.

Salads were simple but well done with fresh spring mix and delicious dressings. Enjoyed the outdoor seating during the beautiful weather yesterday! Good vibes too, service was decent but tapered off as it got busy. Highly recommend and will be adding to my regular rotation. This was a culinary experience from start to end! Our server Thomas H. Jerusalem is a family owned and operated restaurant serving authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. We started with bacon wrapped dates. They were served with bacon, halloumi cheese stuffed in the dates and a pomegranate molasses drizzle. This was an amazing dish. The bacon was crispy and the dates were slightly sweet this combined with the salty cheese and sweet drizzle made for a delicious bite. The lamb shanks were served with basmati saffron rice, roasted cauliflower and pita bread.

They lamb was fork tender and falling off the bone. It was spiced and seasoned perfectly with a slight toasted cumin heat that just lingered on the back of your tongue. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly with a slightly sweet floral flavor. The pita was fresh, and the cauliflower was charred and tasty. When mixing everything together and eating it on the pita it made for near heavenly bite.

If you go to this restaurant, I highly recommend that you order the specials or just let the chef pick. They also offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The servers are super nice, and they are very knowledgeable of the menu. They have several beers and wines for the Middle East as well.

I have eaten at Jerusalem Garden Cafe for many years and have always been satisfied, but this last time was such a downer. We went to eat there for dinner and the service was terrible, it seemed they had a new waiter, never seen him before and our usual excellent server was bussing tables.

There was only one other occupied table, so not busy at all. When the gyros came, I had to take a double look. My mom had ordered a falafel sandwich and one tiny falafel was hidden in her mountain of lettuce. The gyros looked much better at lunchtime!!

When she looked for the falafel, it rolled out of her sandwich onto the floor, so she ate a lettuce sandwich. We could not ask the waiter why the sandwiches looked so meager, because he was nowhere to be found for 20 mins. One of us finally had to hunt him down for more drinks.

I think I will go there for lunch in the future and ask for the busboy to be our server. Biltmore’s chefs create incredible meals using locally sourced meat, fish and vegetables grown right on the Estate. Keep in mind that to dine on the Estate you must purchase a ticket, be a guest at the Inn or Village Hotel or be an annual passholder – but it’s so worth it. Such a fun time and the wines were delicious! The wine servers were so knowledgeable and made the 5 tasters worth it!

We ordered full glasses outside with the heaters on in the winter with bonbons! It was perfect after walking around the Biltmore Estate! Definitely recommend making this a stop on your tour! Get your free wine tasting! The staff is super kind and very knowledgeable. You can make a reservation day of at the guest reception prior to entering the estate!

The layout here was nice with plenty of options for wine or gifts. We did the wine tasting and our sommelier was humorous and knowledgeable. The range of wines offered at the tasting was more than adequate.

The lamp chops were excellent. Cook just right with great sauce. Mussels too! French onion was good. Wonderful beautiful place. The wait staff was excellent and friendly. If you’re coming for brunch make sure you’re hungry, portions are very generous including the mimosa flight. Everything was perfectly made with flavor and I left full and satisfied. I had the chicken and French toast with a side of scrambled eggs. Isa’s French Bistro is one of my favorites places to get some good food. Very Friendly. The food is worthy of such a location, and the wine list has won a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence nine times in total.

What an incredible experience! The food, the drinks, the ambiance, the view, and our server were all absolutely superb. The executive chef came over to do a table touch, which was the icing on the cake.
